It has been rebuilt by the brilliant JB Engineering, alias Billy and Jack Bellinger. I arrived at their workshop today, and all I could see was a new axle by the door! Turned out it was mine, not only scrubbed clean, but painted, and looking superb. Billy and Jack talked me through what they had done, why they had done it, amd why the axle had failed in the first place..
I am convinced I had taken it to the very best place for its rebuild.
They gave me lots of advice and hints and tips for refitting it, so hopefully, Mog will again be mobile very soon! Pictured are all the bits in the back of the tintop, after my 300 mile round trip!
