New Useful Toy

A Bondic Welder! Using a liquid glue which is hardened by the UV light. Apparantly it will bond just about everything! Here, it welded the elephant’s ear back on. Last week, it helped mend an allen key that locks our windows.. Reight good!

Haunted Disused Railway

Sometimes, and it is scary, walking along the old Unstone Line, which was very busy in its day, moving coal and coke around….as you walk along, you sometimes hear what sounds like a train going by…Scary, or what?

A footpath turns right, and takes you under the viaduct to the side of the Mighty River Drone

and then back home.

Transportable Garden

With this nice weather, and a clear diary, we are spending lots of time in the garden. The raised bed was filling up niceley…but we had some shallots to plant…
This is a great use for a big plastic basket…lined with the mesh that doesn’t allow weeds (or worms) through…success!

bowing my head in shame!

Just had the Mog’s annual MOT, and to my horror, realised it had done only 2600 miles since the last one! Fair enough, it was off the road for a few weeks while I was having the back axle rebuilt, the other excuse being the volume of rain we have had since about August. I don’t mind using the Mog in the rain, but don’t like putting a soaking wet Mog back in the garage… This morning, I have replaced an exhaust bracket, and gobboed another joint, then took it for a nice drive around the local villages.
