today’s bowls: a similar to yesterday’s square one, but with the corners cut off, and a tiny round one!

I am now self isolating, nut thankfully, had a negative PCR test. So, lots of jobs being done here at home…I made this square bowl today, only 7 inches square, but nice!

and here it is, with 5 apples on it!

My pal J B Stephens has borrowed my roll bar for the rest of the motorsport season, he became aware he needed a diagonal, something which is not fitted to his…so with the deft use of a few spanners, and a visit from him, mine was soon removed, and he winged his way back to wildest Cheshire with it…he now tells me it has been swapped over, and let’s hope the rest of the season is a good one for him….

I made a couple of new racks to support some more recycled cassette boxes today, and invented a new hanging set of recycled milk bottles, ideal for things such as secateurs.

Title may sound confusing…Basement? Well, years ago, when I started my printing business, it was from the basement of the house we used to live in. When we moved here, and built the workshop, the obvious name for it was Basement. Anyway, last year, I decided at try and fix the leaky corrugated roof…and thought that fixing a tarpaulin would be an answer. Three sides were completed, leaving just the back to do…which was done yesterday. Cutting the excess tarp, removing the gutter, stapling the tarp, refixing the gutter, job done! New coat of paint on the back door, and re-sealing the frame, now good for a few years more!

The resident inside will be happy!

Over lockdown, I have been making wiro-bound notepads by using up my paper/card stock, and wire bindings. The covers are all from packaging….so you can see what Jane and I have been eating and drinking lately!
